Celebrating success and moving into a new stage of growth

Nick Thomas, our chairman, has decided to step down from the board of Traffic Safe after three very successful and productive years.

Under Nick Thomas’ stewardship, supported by the exceptional leadership of Pierre Crous, Traffic Safe NZ Limited has not only thrived but also established a culture of resilience, innovation, performance, improvement, and success.

Nick’s leadership has been instrumental in:

  • Navigating the business through periods of uncertainty with clarity and purpose.
  • Championing initiatives that elevated our organisational capabilities and reputation.
  • Inspiring a commitment to excellence across every level of the company.
  • Successfully winning all major supply contracts that we targeted expanding our client base and diversifying into new sectors.
  • Significantly improving the health & safety culture, performance, and leadership.
  • Leading the drive for innovation and improvement resulting in Traffic Safe winning the prestigious safety category at the 2024 Safeguard New Zealand awards.
  • Achieving excellent growth in financial performance and organisational capability.

After three years in the role, having successfully guided the company through a critical phase of growth and transformation, achieving key strategic objectives, and building a solid foundation for sustainable growth, Nick has decided it is the right time to step down and focus on his responsibilities as Group CEO of CMSL Holdings Group, a fast-growing infrastructure services and maintenance provider.

We are very thankful for Nick’s leadership of Traffic Safe during his tenure and wish him well in his future endeavours.  He will continue to be a shareholder in Traffic Safe and a strong supporter of the business and all of you.

Thank you Nick!
